Minister of Industry Tours the GSC Facilities

Vancouver, BC, Canada | John Manley, the Minister of Industry, toured the GSC facilities today. The tour organized by Michael Smith, the Director, and given by Marco Marra, the Assistant Director, and Steven Jones, the Head of Bioinformatics, consisted of a demonstration of lab and computer facilities as well as a discussion centered on the role and future of the GSC and the broad role of genomics and bioinformatics in the field of medical and health care research.
