GSC Bioinformatics platform is moving
All computer services provided by the Genome Sciences Centre will be down from 6 pm Thursday, April 22nd until approximately 9 am Monday, April 26th. This includes the GSC web site, collaborator access to web and ftp data, and access to all services (e.g. DiscoverySpace).
The bioinformatics team will be moving into a new office located at West 7th Ave. and Ash Street during this time, this includes a move of all computers in the server room.
In the following weeks, the main office for the GSC as well as the CDC office, will also be moving into the new building. This move will consolidate the GSC from three physically seperate buildings into a single building. The GSC will be located on the 1st, 5th and 6th floors of the newly constructed Echelon Building.
