De novo assembly of a fungus genome
Scientist at Genome Sciences Centre were able to successfully produce a high quality draft genome for a filamentous fungus using Sanger, 454 and Illumina sequence data in a cost effective way. This method demonstrate that eukaryotic genome can be accurately assembled using our method.
