Review of Massively Parallel MicroRNA Profiling in Cancer

Massively Parallel MicroRNA Profiling in the Haematologic Malignancies

This chapter is a review of the new sequencing technologies allowing measurement of microRNA and mRNA expression (miRNA-seq and RNA-seq) while also enabling discovery of polymorphisms, mutations and RNA edits. We discuss the relevance of microRNAs in various cancers with a focus on B-cell malignancies. It will be featured as Chapter 3 in an upcoming book entitled "microRNA Profiling in Cancer: A Bioinformatics Perspective"
